The Music Program offers a wide variety of opportunities for student participation and learning. All elementary schools are served by a music teacher so that every child has music from a specialist in each grade. Singing, creative movement, and playing simple instruments provide all students with opportunities to enjoy music and to build a foundation for formal instruction in musical instruments and in choral singing. At the middle and junior high levels, students may select from courses in General Music.
